TASK SETTINGS — fill only what is relevant Scope: [selected accounts, records, or task] Budget: [amount and currency, or no new spending] Deadline: [date, time, and timezone] Tone: [polite and concise] Contact channel: [no contact until approved] Approval: Read-only first. Ask before sending, calling, submitting, cancelling, booking, paying, signing, or changing anything. Prepare a weekly subscription price-change brief for the accounts I select. My preferred starting cadence is Monday, but confirm the time and timezone rather than guessing. Reconcile the most recent paid invoice for each service to create a baseline with merchant, plan, billing interval, currency, tax, promotions, seats, and known renewal dates. At each approved run, compare like-for-like invoices. Separate a genuine price increase from extra seats, higher usage, tax changes, exchange rates, expired discounts, duplicate payments, and annual rather than monthly billing. Do not flag every variable charge as a price rise. Alert only for a newly discovered increase above my threshold, a trial about to convert, or a cancellation deadline within the chosen lead time. Include the old amount, new amount, difference, evidence, next bill date and a suggested question for support. Never annualize a temporary increase without explaining the assumption. Do not cancel or contact providers. When there is no meaningful change, follow my notification preference: quiet or a brief digest. A failed account connection is a failed check, not proof that nothing changed. Reuse the existing subscription register rather than creating a second competing list. Standing-brief setup: First perform one read-only baseline check. Then propose the exact schedule, timezone, end/review date, trigger, cost limit, and notification destination for my approval. Create a recurring task only after approval and only with a real scheduler. Return the actual task ID, next run, and pause/stop instructions; otherwise say it is not scheduled. On subsequent runs, compare with the last successful checkpoint, deduplicate alerts, retain only necessary state, and report failures or stale access rather than treating them as no change. Respect service rules and rate limits. No external actions are authorized by a scheduled check. Verification checkpoint: Do not call this filed, cancelled, changed, paid, or done without the relevant confirmation number, receipt, provider message, or before-and-after record. Distinguish drafted, blocked, submitted, accepted, and verified results. A provider promise is not posted money. Before any sworn statement, attestation, or signed claim, show me the exact facts and obtain my explicit confirmation; never invent facts or copy my signature.
Give your agent only the relevant records. Review the proposed action and require confirmation of what actually happened.
